¡Estoy trabajando a ful!
This week my companion and I have really been working our
tales off! We contact a ton of people every day and usually just makes times to
come back and visit them. The work is definately not easy out here. Not many
people let us share our message with them but we invite them still the
same!
This week we found a man named Jose. He is about 55 years
old and he let us sit down and share our message with him. Then when we came
back to his house for the return appoinment he was there and ready to have
another lesson, and had read in the Book of Mormon( Which is all very uncommon)
so we taught him again and he was excited to read more in the Book of Mormon
and this time say a prayer after to ask God if it is a true Book. We also
invited him to church and made plans to help him come to church with us on
Sunday. Anybody who has served a mission porbably knows that Sundays are
usually the most stressfull day of the week because it is the day to see just
ho committed your investigators are. And out here we wake up at 6:00 on sunday
( instead of our usual 7.00) to go out early and help investigators come to
church. Also if your lucky you get to teach 2nd and third hour of church like
me and my companion do haha. But anyway we went to Jose´s house and he as all
ready to go!!!! Wow... it was awesome. During sacrament meeting I helped Jose
sing te hymns and by last last one he had figured it out and was actually
singing a little bit. For the closing prayer something kinda funny happened.
The sister saying the closing prayer didnt make sure the micraphone was up to
her mouth so it was really hard to hear her. Well in the middle of te prayer
Jose sound with a very strong voice ¨¡No le Escucho! !Mas Fuerte¡¨ which just
means I cant here you, speak up, So yeah that pretty much made my day.
Well other than Jose we dont have any other investigators
who made it to church on Sunday so we will have to visit them this week and
help tem get there next week. That is pretty much all that happened this week.
My companion and I are really enjoying our time together and are serving the
Lord with all our heart, might, mind and strength.
I love you all and am grateful for all your prayers.
Love Elder Anderson
