Elder Joseph Anderson's Mission Letter

Okay so this week hasn´t been too eventful. My companion and I are really struggling to find investigators who will keep there commitments because right now we have just one. The investigator who is progressing the fastest right now is a women named Norma Gonzales. She has five kids and a marido, which is like a husband but their not married. Yesterday was a wreck because we were supposed to have three investigatores come to church but one broke his leg on saturday so he couldn´t come, the other is in Resistencia for work, and Norma...well this is what happened with Norma: So she told us the day before she was going to come to church and she was going to bring her baby and her 5 year old daughter Florencia. So we told here we could pass by at Eight in the morning on Sunday to make sure everything was still good to go (because most of the time we are the peoples alarm clocks) So we came at eight and she was all dressed in her falda and hair done and kids almost ready and we were super excited. So we ask her how she was going to get there and she told us she was going to take a colectivo (bus) and we said "¡BuenĂsimo! Vamos a esperar en frente de la capilla." So we get to church and wait and wait and wait and she never shows up. So we had no idea what happened so we asked other members about the colectivo she took and they told us it doesnt pass anywhere near the church. So she got lost. I feel so bad we didnt go with here and help her to the church and we went by that night and she told us she got lost and we apologized. It´s a terrible feeling when that happens. And also I gave a talk yesterday about missionary work. I was supr nervous but everybody told me that it was really good, but who knows what that means because everybody always says that. But I want everybody to know that every member is a missionary. Not just the people with name tags, but every member. Imagine that you are in heaven after you die and one of your best friends comes up to you and asks you why you didnt share the gospel with them and that they would have loved to have the same happiness that you had during this life. How would you feel??????? I know I would feel terrible and I want to encourage everybody to share this wonderful gospel with EVERYONE. Because everyone is a child of god and everyone needs this Gospel in their lives. Remember also that it is a commandment to share the gospel. Well I love all of you very much and for some reason the computer is not letting me load pictures so I´ll have to do double next week.

¿Feliz Navidad!

Love, Elder Anderson
